There's a concept of behavior association formed from a pragmatic speculation. A Notion divided by oceans and borders, slaughtering to maintain order. Oh how we love to generalize and perceive the masses. A Blueprint enforcing segregation. Embrace the roots but don't follow blind. There's a biased point of view when it comes to the right to choose, if you want that right you must sacrifice. Times are changing, ain't it amazing how we cant evolve to solve problems. We don't need a map to tell us whats right or wrong, we need further development in our networking skills. We hesitate to trust, instead there's prejudice and bewilderment. Will your afterlife hold victims of genocide and tax brokers for migrant workers. It's not easy to be receptive when a point of view is rejected and culture isn't accepted, but who set the standard of immorality? You classify the cluster with disgraceful slander and steal the joy you can never produce. A perfect world is everyone being as fucked up as you. Take your bigotry to the grave with your pride, the terms you've learned and the bridges you burn with assumption. Is this how you represent your people? Is ignorance a custom or are you scared? Where do you see the future? Will tradition carry on? Its all the people the people who never choose, its all the people the people who fucking lose, it's all the people the people who are driven off a cliff. Mothers always know what's best and father's there to protect. There is no second chance, there was never even a first.

We all want the ability to make a change. Suffering and wondering when it's gonna end. And I don't have the time for everybody's problems when I've got problems of my own. So I'll drink all night until the well runs dry and put aside the factors that make me wanna die. When I don't wanna be here I make the bottles disappear, so black out here beside me and forget about the year. And as for me I'll bring the party up and down the street. Running through the halls, tearing down your walls, dropping hand grenades. Not literally, but it's a painted scene of debauchery. I'm so overwhelmed burning in hell, cheers to paradise. We all carry the hopes and dreams of moving away. To pack our things and start off clean with opportunity. But I'm too broke and lazy to get off the couch. That's why I'm here today, I'm still here today.

Seasons change as the earth rotates with a dying world fooled by temperature telling boys and girls to stay in their homes. Better not leave your room, spring is coming soon, ice will melt like you, Summer burns the skin, utilize air condition or smell the burning death. And for the time being I have a reason to wake up, still no reason to go to sleep, this comfort keeps me warm. Seasons change as the earth rotates with a dying world fooled by temperature telling boys and girls to stay in their homes. Autumn creeps the streets, down fall the leaves, beware of the trick or treat. Happy Holidays from the frozen graves of Santa's little slaves. And for the time being I have a reason to wake up, still no reason to go to sleep, this comfort keeps me warm. Seasons change as the earth rotates with a dying world fooled by temperature telling boys and girls to stay in their homes. It's this comfort that keeps me warm and these moments that cool me down, it's the shining light off of exit signs. We take the daily risk of getting sick for pleasure and fun, trying to get shit done. I've been chased by a hurricane, I conquered the avalanche and swam in the drain. This is for the people who lose the fight with lack of artillery to counter strike.

Snooze Button Syndrome (free) 03:53
Eyes have dried from television and computer screens, grab a book and teach the lesson. Bored as shit we don't gather our intelligence in a productive manner. It's conflicting schedules that may hinder the revolution process. It's the fact of the matter that never seems to matter. Would you go out of your way for another mother fucker? Selfishness isn't close to godliness. And large scale events don't make up for slacking done a daily basis and that includes the amount of bitching. Earth is mad but humorous which kills me to say it will always remain broken. Best thing to fuckin do is be genuine and real so less gray hairs scratch the surface. So cheers to the fucked up funny world where we leave shit on each others door steps. Let's grab all our trash and fill the parking lot, burn a bag of shit in front of the capital, fire one up and clam bake the pentagon. And observe stoners that aren't lazy. I smoke a lot of pot, I smoke a lot of pot and I get shit done. Let's sing a melody that excludes blasphemy, waltz to the grave before we catch our breath, die in the royalty of our morality. Common etiquette is what the kids don't get. I was that young and dumb and then I grew, there's plenty more fucked than a few and there faces are turning blue. Cast forth the iron hand and pick up those who struggle to stand.

Out Of Luck 04:09
Drink a lot of coffee in the morning with a fat bong of sour diesel, another 18 pack later everyone is going nuts. Now I gotta pee, holy shit I gotta poop. Go on in the woods where I fertilize, then I wipe my ass with a brown paper bag. My luck has run out, it ran out a long time ago. I can't help myself from the stupid bullshit that falls in to my lap like I'm in a plane crash. I need to prove to myself that I can be the better person and no matter what fucking happens I'm shit out of luck. Later that day I puked my brains out, also had diarrhea. I don't what went wrong and why I'm singing this song. Just don't understand how destiny works, from here it cant get any fuckin worse, a mutilated misfit from the date of birth. My luck has run out, it ran out a long time ago. I can't help myself from the stupid bullshit that falls in to my lap like I'm in a plane crash. I need to prove to myself that I can be the better person and no matter what fucking happens I'm shit out of luck.

about

Five tracks of hyper-speed punk metal graced with unexpected twists and turns galore is what NY trio Social Standards specialize in on NOT SO FAST. Schizophrenic and volatile vocals collide with a three-prong nimble guitar, hulking hardcore punk bass and technically sound and tenacious drum attack while oodles of unorthodox influences from ska to death metal meander in and out of this hybrid display of spastic rock (“Out of Luck”). Fusing the brevity of punk, the adventure of progressive rock, and colossal clobbering nature of metal, Social Standards present a confrontational and cathartic whirlwind release whose in your face tendencies and cohesive chaos leaves a lasting impression that fans of Fugazi, Propagandhi, and Strung Out will surely appreciate.
